One day Kansai/Osaka Pass

Hi,

I will be going to Osaka KIX this coming monday ( 03/12/07 )

The plan is to travel only in from KIX airport to my hotel , which is near Uehommachi Station and to Kyoto for the day visit.

Is it more worth it to get the JR west pass or just the '' Osaka One Day pass which cost 850 Yen per day . Can this pass be used to and from the airport ?

The only concern is that it does not state clearly which are the lines I can use this ticket on.

Unlimited use of subways, city buses and the New Tram, but excluding the OTS Line. On Fridays and on the 20th of each month (or the following day, if the 20th is a Sunday or public holiday), the One-Day Pass is called ''No-My-Car-Day Discount Pass'' and costs only 600 Yen. Available at subway stations and kiosks.

The JR West Pass covers travel on local and rapid trains (but not limited express and shinkansen) on all JR lines in the Greater Osaka area and in unreserved cars of the Haruka limited express trains. That includes JR trains between Kansai Airport and Osaka and JR trains between Osaka and Kyoto. It does not include Osaka Subway and other non-JR trains.

The Osaka 1-day pass is valid on all Osaka Subway lines. There are no subway lines going to Kansai Airport or Kyoto.

My plan is to use the airport bus direct to my hotel ( 1300yen )

And purchase this 2 Day Osaka Unlimited Pass to travel around Osaka,

I am also going to travel to Kyoto for one day. Understand that I can just purchase a train ticket to Kyoto and use the local bus in Kyoto at travel around amd then back to Namba station in the night

No, a 1-day JR West Pass for 2000 yen will not pay off for a round trip to Kyoto.
