1. What is the best way to Shimoda Yamatokan from Shinjuku?By Odoriko Limited Express to Izukyu-Shimoda Station. They provide pickup from the station: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6310.html What is the must see area in Shimoda ? (Half day)About Shimoda: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6300.html3. What is the best way to move from Shimoda to Izu (Ito Yamatokan)I assume you mean Ito instead of Izu. You can take a direct train from Shimoda to Ito: 1 hour, 1570 yen by local train. You can look up timetables here. Note thatyou must enter "Izukyu shimoda" rather than "Shimoda" for the station in Shimoda, otherwise, you get wrong results. 4. What is the must see area in ITO (half day) ?There is not much in central Ito besides bathing. The Izu Kogen area just south of Ito is more interesting: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6310.htmlWhat is the best way back from ITO to Shinjuku area ?Again, by Odoriko limited express. See link at the top.
