West Kansai Pass For These Trains?

Hi,
Can we use the West Kansai Pass to go Himeji from Kyoto on these trains & do we need to pay extra for reserved seats on these trains :
- LTD.EXP SUPER HAKUTO 5
- LTD.EXP THUNDERBIRD 14
Is the pass also valid for trains between Himeji & Kobe, then Kobe to Kyoto?

The only Ltd Express covered by West JR Kansai Pass is the Haruka train to KIX airport. To Himeji and to Kobe you can only go by standard ( slow ) JR trains. ( Kyoto - Himeji 90 min )

Only on "special rapid" trains, rapid trains and local trains, but not on limited express trains or shinkansen. The "special rapid" is, according to its name, quite fast and stops only at major stations.
