I have planned a big shopping spree in Tokyo. Can i get tax refund at the airpport?

No. Tax free shopping is possible at some large stores in large cities, e.g. department stores and electronic stores. You will have to spend more than 10,000 yen and present your passport. Then, you can buy the products with the 5% consumption tax subtracted.
