Hotel in Japan 2007/12/12 02:39
Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza - which is more convenient to stay? Would very much appreciate if can advice on which hotel to stay.

That would depend on your plans. If you're on business and will be having meetings in a particular area, by all means stay there. If not commuting by train is very fast and easy.

If you are a tourist and want to enjoy shopping, eating and traveling, it will be more convenient to stay on the east side of the Shinjuku station, on the west side of the Shibuya station and anywhere near the Ginza station. But most restaurants and shops in Ginza are every expensive.

I prefer to stay in Ueno (lots of museums, a couple of temples, great shopping under the railway tracks) and Shinagawa (lots of stuff to do and see). Any one of the main areas in Tokyo is easily accessible from the other mai nareas by the JR Yamanote loop line
