Activities in Tokyo (not a tourist)

Hi all,
my girlfriend is visiting me in Tokyo for a month. I usually have to workso she's a little bored during the day. She is taking some cooking lessons at some cooking studio and really enjoys it. Is there any other activities I can sign her up? Preferably in English as she doesn't speak Japanese. Any suggestions what she can do besides sight-seeing and shopping when I am at work?
Thanks!

Have a look at your local ward/ city office for cultural programmes offered to non-Japanese- language, ikebana, cooking, kimono etc. Also check the Metropolis magazine- they have a lot of activities advertised.
