When i am visiting Japan for a holiday.. Can i enter japan with a one way ticket ? or must i have a return ticket ?

You're supposed to have either a return ticket or sufficient funds to purchase a return ticket. In practice they never ask, and you can always say that you will purchase one at a later date.
