Reservations at Kikunoi Restaurant?

Does anyone know how to go about getting reservations at Kyoto's Kikunoi Restaurant??

All I could find on the web was their phone number and fax number... if you have already booked your hotel in Kyoto, maybe you could ask them to place a reservation for you?

I agree with the previous post that it's easier to ask the hotel to make a booking, although I would advise to book in advance as this restaurant gets very busy. I recently had dinner at their branch in Tokyo and had to book about 4 weeks in advance, though the wait was worth it as the food is incredible. Also if you ask, I am sure that one of the staff will speak English but please try in Japanese first.
