Hi.
We will be in Kyoto around 6th March and we are wondering if the Philopher's Path Walk is worth doing at that time of year i.e. end of winter/start of spring?
Thank you

I would not make it a top priority because there is not a lot of foliage or flowers, but it can make a nice walk at any time of the year. It is a convenient connection between Nanzenji and Ginkakuji.

Unfortunately, cherry blossoms will be in full bloom on the Philosopher's walk three or four weeks after your visit. But it's an atmospheric path, so strolling there would be a nice idea during your stay.

I was just there at the end of December. Even though it was raining slightly, the walk was stll pleasant.
