Hi I'm an American student at Osaka University. I am going to make tempura, but I don't want to make the sauce from scratch. I want to buy tempura dipping sauce, but I don't know how to figure out which is for tempura, and I don't know which ones are good. Does anyone know any good dipping sauces available in stores in Japan? What are they called - preferably the kanji and furigana if applicable. It will make it easier for me it find it :) Also if anyone has a recommendation for pre-made tempura batter I'd be glad to learn it. Thanks!!!

Ten tsuyu 天つゆ is the sauce for Tempura. u can find them easy in supermarket, but cooking is also easy!
sake 50cc mirin 50cc soy sauce 50cc water 200cc katuo keduri bushi 15g
1.boil sake, mirin, sor sauce and water. 2.add keduri bushi and turn off gas. 3.wait several minutes and filter.
or u can use instant "dashi no moto" insted of Keduri bushi. have fun!
