We will be visiting Tokyo tomorrow. Is there a way to rent a phone, or buy a simm card for our phone. We saw one that is about USD30 a week plus minutes. We do not know if it it a good deal.

Hi, I've never rented a phone, but there are shops that rent them in both Hanada & Narita Airports.

There are mobile phone rental booths inside Narita Airport (assuming you are arriving there), many places have 200-300yen a day deals, for example I used ABC domestic service which was about 300 yen a day, and 80yen a min for domestic calls. The international version was more expensive, you can find different deals at the mobile phone rental counters in the airport.
