hi,
we are planning a 8 days trip in late jan. As it is winter, any recommendations on where we should go to appreciate the snow ? Will probably spend 2 dThis is our 3rd time to japan.

We are also thinking of mount fuji. Is is okay to go in winter?

Yes, it is nice around the year. Of course, it is not possible to go to the summit, though. Even the 5th Station is often not accessible due to snowy road conditions. But the views from Kawaguchiko, for example, are nice:
