Hi, I'd like to know how much is in Japan for these 2 things:

a) Compact Flash card 4GB
b) ZUIKO DIGITAL
ED 70-300mm F4.0-5.6 (for Olympus camera) here the link http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/lens/dea/products/...

Thank you, especially if you can give me some link to shops.

Prices 2008/1/27 09:14
The retail price for the lens is 49,875, Yodabashi Camera currently list it for 39,900:

With regard to compact flash cards, price will depend on brand and speed. Again, here is Yodabashi's listings:

I don't know where you are in the world but I have found these cards to be quite expensive in Japan compared with US and some European prices (UK, Belgium, Germany).

Thank You 2008/1/27 18:11
I live in Italy, the price for len is almost the same as in Usa or in Europe, maybe a bit cheaper but not much.

CF cards are really expensive, the cheapest in Italy (as in your link, san disk II ultra) I bought it for 6.000 Yen (against 13.800 from Yodobashi). That is good to know I will buy another one in Italy then.
Thank you very much.

Guarantee 2008/1/27 18:32
Remember also that buying the lens in Japan may mean you are not covered by the guarantee and if you are, it would not be so easy to return a faulty lens. Depending on other purchases you might make in Japan, you could also be liable for duty and VAT when bringing the lens back to Italy.
