hair straightener from USA in Japan?

I plan on bringing a hair straightener I bought in the states to Japan.
-Will it work?
-Can i buy a power converter to get it to work?

Japan uses 100v the USA uses 110/120v. I don't think you will have a problem using it, it might just take a bit longer to heat up.

Yup, it will work no problem I use devices all the time over here that are American. As stated it will take just a little longer to heat up. No big deal, not only have I tried it, but I'm an Electrical Engineer so that helps lol
