how can an illigitmate child from a japanese be registered in japan? The japanese acknowledged being the father of the child thru signing the "aknowlegemet part in the birth certificate. Can she be a japanese citizen? Thanks and hoping for your reply...

Yes, your daughter can become a Japanese citizen. Contact your local Japanese embassy/consulate.
