Hello everybody! I plan on going on a trip to japan for 2 weeks in march. my dates are march 12 to the 26th. I'm not so sure where to go or anything and was wondering if anyone was willing to help me.
I think I'll be doing the usual of Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo. I want to make sure I climb or hike Mount Fuji. The thing is I don't want to spend a whole lot more than $2,200. Do you guys think this is possible? Also, any help on how to plan my trip is GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you!!

I want to make sure I climb or hike Mount Fuji.Even to just get to the 5th Station can be a challenge, because there are no buses until late April. Needless to say, you can't make it to the summit in March: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6901.htmlThe thing is I don't want to spend a whole lot more than $2,200.Accommodation should cost you under $1000. A Japan Rail Pass a few hundred dollars. That leaves you with around $50-75 per day for food, non-JR transportation and attractions. It is doable! I assume that the airfare is not included in the $2200. More help on how to prepare the trip is found here: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e623.html
