Narita to Aoto to Tobu/Asakusa? 2008/2/3 00:42
I want to get from Narita to Nikko as easily as possible.
I looks like I can take SOMETHING from Narita to Aoto station and transfer to SOMETHING ELSE to Asakusa station and then it looks like an easy walk to Tobu/Asakusa where our train to Nikko will leave from.
- What are those SOMETHING trains and does this sound any easier/faster than just taking the skyliner to Uneo and Ginzaline to Asakusa?
I'm really worried about getting lost and missing the train to Nikko.

I want to get from Narita to Nikko as easily as possible.

That would be either by Narita Express, shinkansen and JR Nikko Line via Tokyo and Utsunomiya or by airport bus to Utsunomiya followed by a train ride along the JR Nikko Line.

If you opt for the route via Aoto and Asakusa, you would be taking the Keisei Limited Express (Narita Airport to Aoto), the Keisei Oshiage Line, which becomes the Asakusa Subway Line along the way without transfer of trains (Aoto to Asakusa) and the Tobu Nikko Line (Asakusa to Nikko).
