Is walking a good way to get to Shinsaibashi, through Amerikamura, all the way to Dotonbori?
How long would the walks be from Shinsaibashi to Amerikamura, and from Amerikamura to Dotonbori?
Also, would I be able to fill one day with just these places?

Yes, I think it is a pleasant walk. I have done it before. If you just walk through, it takes little more than 20 minutes. But depending on how much you like (window) shopping, I guess you could spend a whole day there.
