i need to know when and where you can catch the night train fro osaka to sopporo.

The direct night train between Osaka and Sapporo is called "Twilight Express". It leaves from Osaka Station at 12:03 and also stops at Shin-Osaka Station at 12:10 and arrives in Sapporo the next morning at 9:52.
The Twilight Express operates not everyday!
Until May 30: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (exceptions: everyday until 2/11 and during Golden Week: 4/25 to 5/5)
In June: 2, 4, 6, 7, 9 and everyday from the 11th
