Hokkaido Pair Pass 2008/2/4 12:00
I would like to seek confirmation of my understanding about Hokkaido Pair Pass.

1. Hokkaido Free Pass is the same as Hokkaido Pair Pass except the latter is for two to travel together.

2. Hokkaido Pair Pass is available for sale upon arrival at Chitose airport.

3. Are there limits in ticket sales per day?

4. Can the pass be bought earlier and activate later because we need to buy two 7days pass.

tks

The Pair Pass was discontinued a few years ago. There is now only the Hokkaido Free Pass:

JR Hokkaido Free Pass 2008/2/4 18:16
in the webpage http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2357.html, under JRHokkaido Free pass, it is still written "1 person use 23750 Yen, 2 person use 43220 Yen".

Is this different from the Pair Pass?

If there is only single ticket pass costing Y23,750, it seems more economical for us to buy a 14 Days Japan rail pass costing Y45,100 instead of two HFP which will cost Y46800.

Tks

I am afraid the webpage was out-of-date. The pair pass is not available anymore.
