selling my used bicycle in Saitama 2008/2/14 10:25
I need to sell my used bicycle, as I won't take it back to my own country.
Does anyone have a tip where I could sell it best? It's a cheap one with one gear. :)

Haf,

You won't be able to sell it unless it is an expensive bike in good condition. (Why would someone buy one secondhand when a brand new one costs less than 10,000 yen?)
If there is a recycling truck that tours your area regularly, they might take it off your hands for free, but you will probably have to pay to have it collected by your local city rubbish collector. Otherwise, the best way is to leave it in front of your local station unlocked.

tried Metropolis? 2008/2/15 14:26
You can advertise it for free in Metropolis magazine. If it is a "mama-chari" (shopping bike) you won't get more than a few thousand yen for it.
