Month’s itinerary

We are looking to travel to Japan from the 18th of March this year (2008) till 18th of April when we are heading to Shanghai from Osaka.. We were just wondering if you guys (and girls) could check out our plan so far to see if there are any obvious things we are missing that are must sees...

Day 1-9 - Tokyo
Day 10 - Nikko
Day 11 Yokohama
Day 12-13 - Nagoya
Day 14 - Takayama
Day 15-16 - Kanazawa
Day 17-23 - Kyoto (Day trips to Nara & Mount Koya)
Day 24 - Miyajima
Day 25-26 - Fukuoka
Day 27-30 - Osaka
DAy 31 - To China

Now I know it seems liek we are spending alot of time in Tokyo but that was after all the main reason we were going.. Also we only have one 21 day JR pass from the 28th (day 10) which will last us for the rest of the trip..

Have you already got your Rail Pass voucher? You could have saved money had you gone to Miyajima and Fukuoka before Kyoto, that way you would only have needed a 14 day pass and used the Kansai Thru Pass while in the Kyoto/Osaka area.
