Diving in Kyushu? 2008/2/29 07:20
Hi. I fell in love with scuba diving while in Okinawa last week. I'm back from vacation and am already planning my next visit. I've done some online searching, but to no avail. Is there any scuba diving in Kyushu? That's where I'm headed next, but I really want to get some diving in.

Where the warm currents come close there are some good diving spots such as the southern end of Cape Sata, The water temp in winter only gets as low as 16‹but is usually warmer. Other places are off the rocks south of Miyazaki City around Nango, and at spots around Sakurajima in Kagoshima Bay. The west coast water tends to be murkey and the north is cold.

Thanks so much! Do you happen to know of any dive shops or scuba outfits in those areas? I've searchd online and found nothing.
