I have had an unopened bottle of amazake in the refrigerator for two or three months. It has no sell-by date. How long does amazake last? How do you tell if it's gone bad?

Well, the plastic bag I just opened today (since it's Hinamatsuri) says it will last until this August if un-opened. No preseves or added sugar. Are you sure there is no date on it, though? I think that's against the law!
