Ryujin onsen from Wakayama city?

My family and I are wanting to spend 2 nights at the Kamigoten Ryokan (Ryujin Onsen). We will be traveling from Osaka using the Japan Rail pass. Any tips on the closest way there. We were also hoping to do some day trips from Ryujin to Gobo to visit family.

Take the JR limited express to Kii-Tanabe Station, from where there are buses to Ryujin Onsen. The buses are not covered by the Japan Rail Pass. The one way trip takes 80 minutes and costs 1700 yen. There are 6 round trips per day:

紀伊田辺 means Kii Tanabe
