Washimiya-Machi?

I'm planning on going to Washimiya-Machi as part of my otaku pilgrimage.
Now I know that Washimiya-Machi has the Hiragii shrine from Lucky Star, but anyone knows of any other places of intrest there?
And also, what ways of transportation do you recommand for getting there? Is the city connected with a JR line?

The town can be reached by the Tobu Isesaki Line (Washinomiya Station) or the JR Utsunomiya Line (Higashi-Washinomiya Station).
