2 days either in Tsumago or Koya san?

I will be travelling to Japan in June and can't decide whether to stay in a buddist temple at Koyasan or go to Tsumago. It will only be for 2 days.

I've never been to Tsumago but I went to Koya-san a couple of years ago for a night and 2 days and it was magical. It was winter then however- lots of snow everywhere. I've no idea how it would be in June. Have fun, wherever you decide to go.
