What is the best way to arrange transportation for 2 people from a cruise ship terminal in Osaka to a hotel in Kyoto? We would have 2 large suitcases.

I assume that you'll arrive in International Ferry Terminal. map : http://www.shanghai-ferry.co.jp/images/map_osaka.pdfThen, take a cab to Cosmo Square station. From Cosmo Square station, 1)Cosmo Square to Bentencho station by subway. 2)Bentencho to Osaka by JR Kanjo-line 3)Osaka to Kyoto by JR Tokaido line But, it depends on the hotel in Kyoto. If you don't want to carry your luggage around, send it forward to your hotel from the port. It will arrive on the following day.
