In polite speech:
- Nani wo kaimashita ka?
- Kutsu wo kaimashita.
- Eiga wo mi ni ikimasen ka? (More like "Wouldn't you like to go see a movie?")
In casual/informal speech:
- Nani wo katta no?
- Kutsu.
- Eiga wo mi ni ikanai? (Again, "Shall we go watch a movie?" kind of invitation.)
