If I am not mistaken, the southernmost station on the new JR line in Osaka is not 'Kyohoji' but 'Kyuhoji', the name of a temple in Yao and also of an existing station between Yao and Tennoji. (As I noticed no construction at JR Kyuhoji last August I may be mistaken indeed.)
