Im planing on going to japan in agust and there are somthings i am not sure of yet


When am I sapposed to get a visa?

When I arrive I am to be fingerprinted and what not
what is the proceder?

Mr. Alex if you are visiting Japan for tourism to get or not to get a visa depends on your nationality/citizenship (eg what country are you from)

If your country does not appear on this list then you need to apply for a Visa at the Japanese Embassy where you live:

If your country is on that list, then you do not need a visa for tourism.

As for fingerprinting, yes you will be fingerprinted and photographed. Foreigners (minus a few special cases) are photographed and fingerprinted.
