Will I be able to make it for my flight?

I have to catch a flight leaving Nagoya on Apr 20, 12.35pm.

What time should I leave Kyoto in order to be in time to catch the flight?

What is the best way to take transportation from JR Kyoto Station to Nagoya Airport?

The optimal connection:
Kyoto 8:56--(Shinkansen Hikari, 5,640 yen in a reserved seat)--9:32 Nagoya--(walk)--Meitetsu-Nagoya 10:02--(Meitetsu rapid limited express, 1,200 yen on a reserved seat)--10:30 Chubu Nagoya Airport

You could use the JR pass on Shinkansen Hikari, but not on Meitetsu Line.

I think arrival at the airport 2 hours prior to departure is good enough in Japan. (I mostly use Narita.) If worried, leave Kyoto one hour earlier.
