Pick the sights and activities you are interested in:

As for train tickets, I recommend to use a Suica prepaid card:

Ikebukuro to Shinjuku 2008/3/23 20:10
Before our FE, our pkg tour last day in Tokyo is station at Ikebukuro. How do we transfer from Ikebukuro to Shinjuku. Is it advisable by cab?

Ikebukuro is not far from Shinjuku so if youLre carrying heavy luggage you can perfectly pick a cab as it wonLt cost much. But if youLre not taking heavy luggage or not luggage at all you can pick the JR Yamanote line instead, which only takes 5 minutes and 150 yen. (train will probably be faster than a cab!)

JR Yamanote 2008/4/6 18:06
Should we buy the JR Yamanote rain ticket in advance? Can we purchase this in Tokyo?

Yamanote 2008/4/7 06:22
the Yamanote is a loop line (JR east)that goes around downtown Tokyo linking the major 23 neighbourhoods. you buy single tickets or day passes at any of the station on that line. plese do yourself a favor and check the section TRAVEL on this site--top of the page--then transportation then trains etc. find also the section about Tokyo, trains passes etc.

use the site 2008/4/7 08:20
Pretty much everything you have asked is already on the travel section of this site. How to get to/ from Narits is probably the most frequently asked qustion here. It's a great site, full of information. Have a look around.

Incidentally, only Singaporeans use the expression FE or F&E- other nationalities usually have no idea that it means independent travel.
