i had visited Japan in 2003 and there is still some old note left. i will be visiting Japan again and was wondering if the old note are still in circulation.
IF that is no longer usable, can i bring the note to any bank in japan to change to the new note
Please assist

Livy,
You may have problems using old notes (and coins) in machines, but all old currency is legal tender, and can be used in shops or exchanged at banks.
