Cherry Blossom from 24-30 April

Hi there. I will be in Tokyo from 24th to 30th April Anyone knows if i can still catch the cherry blossoms? I heard tokyo would not have and tohuku would be the option if i want to catch sakura, based on tour packages Anyone care to confirm? WOuld you recommend i take a train up to catch the sakura? ANy places to recommend? thanks

In Tokyo there are cherry blossoms from end of March to begin of April. If you want to see cherry blossoms between 24 and 30 April, you should take a trip to the north of Honshu (such as Sendai or Akita) or Hokkaido.

Thank you for your suggestions. ANy idea how long it takes and how much it cost?How long isa the hourney there? Any other suggestion to do there. Do u think it is wise to spend one day there just to look at sakura? Any other things to do during the time i have there at honshu or hokkaido for just one day

The cherry blossom started blooming in Tokyo early this year. I will be over in a week or two.
