Onsen resorts?

Somewhere here I read about onsen resorts. I hope the poster of that means villages with many onsens like Kurakowa (near Senemoto on Kyushu). I was there in 2005 and I enjoyed the differences in 6 of the 27 available baths very much. Are there more of this kind of villages, and if so: where?
