Zoos and National parks around Tokyo

Are there any zoos or national parks within "one day" travelling distance from Tokyo ?

Ueno Zoo in the Ueno Park where you can also visit a national museum, a national science museum, art museums, etc..

Tama Zoo in Hino City.

Tobu Zoo Park also containing an amusement park. An admission to both the zoo and amusement park: 1,500
yen. Note extra fees are needed for rides.
The nearest station: Tobu Dobutsu Koen Station on the Tobu Isezaki Line.

A national park around Tokyo is Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park.
