Transfers in Tokyo Station 2008/4/6 20:56
Hi,
I plan to move from Kyoto to Narita Airport, leaving Kyoto in the early morning. I want to take the Tokaido Shinkansen to Tokyo Station and transfer on the Narita Express. In Tokyo Station I will have 23 minutes for the transfer. Do you think it is enough to move with luggage from Shinkansen platform 14 to the NEX platform 4 (Sobu line, B5 level)? Thank you so much! Regards,
Sentarou

Tokyo vs Shinagawa 2008/4/7 10:34
Sentarou,

Yes, I think it is enough time, even with luggage, but you might want to look at chaning trains at Shinagawa instead. The shinkansen and Narita Express tracks are much closer together at Shinagawa station, so it is a much easier interchange.
