anyone heard of hotel iida in kyoto? is it a good hotel? they have pictures in their website but none of the rooms. and i know it's near the kyoto station.

I guess they took the photos of the best dishes they serve :) It seems to be considered a conveniently-located, really basic hostel class of accommodation. All rooms come with toilet, but baths are shared (no hot spring water - just regular bath).
