Help with Touring Mapple comments 2008/4/21 00:59
In preparation for my trip to Japan this summer I'm looking through the Touring Mapple 2 - Tohoku map book, reading the editor's comments to se if I can find some interesting places to include in my trip. Normally I manage to make some sense of them, but the following two comments have me scratching my head...

穏やかな陸奥湾の海を目の中いっぱいに入れて走る

This would seem to have something to do with the quiet waters of Mutsu bay...

立ちふさがるような大岩山が海に落ちる

From where the comment is placed this seems to be related to a lookout point, Hokkaimisaki. But as to whether Oisawazan is standing in my way, or I in it's I have no idea...

Regards,

穏やかな 陸奥湾の 海を 目の中 いっぱいに 入れて 走る

- You can drive with full view of (literally: your eyes full with) the calm waters of Mutsu Bay.

立ちふさがるような 大岩山が 海に 落ちる

- Oisawazan, which rises vertically right in front of your eyes (literally: which looks as if to block your way), falls steeply into the sea.
