Correct kanji translation please 2008/4/23 07:21
I saw this phrase posted in a previous thread, but I was wondering if I could get the correct hiragana/kanji translation for it. I have already translated it myself but I'm afraid some of the kanji might be incorrect so I just want to make sure. ^-^ Thanks!

Ichiban tsurai toki to wa, namida wo nagashite iru toki dewa naku, namida wo koraete egao de dareka no namida wo fuite ageru toki da.

WB,

It would probably be written like this...

一番辛い時とは、涙を流している時ではなく、涙をこらえて笑顔で誰かの涙を拭いてあげる時だ。

Yup, Dave is right.
But some of the Kanji in the sentence can be written in Hiragana.
It's also ok.

一番つらいときとは、涙を流しているときではなく、涙をこらえて笑顔で誰かの涙を拭いてあげるときだ。
