Something made from flour and soy should be fine. There are restrictions on importing fresh fruit, veg, dairy products and meat, but dried/long life/baked things are generally fine.

I'm a vegan living in Tokyo. You can purchase vegetarian food in Japan.
Natural House in Aoyama is the largest organic food store in Tokyo.

Hi!
Could someone living in Japan, tell me if it is possible to buy a horseradish root in a grocery store? And how much does it cost?
I'm browsing the internet to find that info, but with no effect.

It is not so common in Japan.
If you are in big cities like Tokyo, you can find them at department stores or international supermarket like Kinokuniya.
Sorry I cannot remember the price...
