Hello everyone,

I was wondering if any of you would be willing to translate two sentences for me. I can only understand a few bits and pieces of the first sentence such as "kyouha," "node," and "hayaku." But I lack full comprehension of the contexts of both sentences, so this doesn't help me at all.

1st: Kyouha hahaoyaga furusatokara toukyouni kiteirunode hayaku kaeranaito.

2nd: Sekkakuno kikai nanoni repo-to yaranakereba....

Thank you for your time.

1st: Kyou ha hahaoya ga furusato kara Toukyou ni kite iru node hayaku kaeranaito.

"Today my mother has come from (our) hometown to Tokyo, so I need to go home early."

2nd: Sekkaku no kikai nano ni repo-to yaranakereba....

"Though this is a good opportunity, I need to do/write a report...."(I guess this means "Though this is a good opportunity to do something ELSE, I can't do it because I need to write a report...")
