Japanese Light Fixtures in Australia.

Australia is on 240V 50hz and Japan 100V (50hz in Tokyo, 60Hz Osaka).
Can Toshiba Light fixture like FVH94514RP be used in Australia? As there are great remote control ceiling lights available in japan
Or is there special converters required.

I think something very bad would happen if you plug in the Japanese fixture in Australia.
It may be fine in the US, with 120V, but 240 is way too high.

How many watts are they? You could run them through a transformer, but this could be expensive if it's more than around 100W.

Watts - 86W is smallest, 144W is largest
