Is there any restrictions on the money that I have taken out of Japan as I have completed my working visa?

If you are carrying more than 1,000,000 yen in cash with you then you must declare it to customs.

also check with your home country as they are sure to have similar requirements for bringing in cash.

If you are carrying/eg in your possession 1,000,000 or more yen you declare it to Customs. There's no restriction on how much you can carry out, just as long as you declare anything 1,000,000 or more.

If you plan to wire transfer out your money or send it out another way then you usually don't have to declare it. Though home tax authorities might need notification depending on various rules of your home country.
