Hi!! hello everyone just wanna ask if it is possible to get a longterm visa in japan even though im 25 yrs of age ryt now..?

Why should i get that kind of visa?
My Mom married a japanese national there and i do hav sister in law with him, and i want to live with them is it possible to my case??

any suggestions that would help us?? TY SO MUCH

Icle,

If you qualify for a working visa and can find a sponsor (i.e. potential employer), then you could get a renewable 1-year working visa. I don't think your family connections will have any relevance since you are no longer a minor.

These are the people that can receive a long-term resident visa:

"Refugees as stipulated by the convention relating to the Status of Refugees, Indochinese refugee settlers, second- and third-generation Japanese settlers, etc."

Nobody here knows what that "etc." covers. You may be eligible for this visa; only immigration knows if you are eligible.
