i was divorced with my ex japanese husband but i still want to stay here in japan..i have a job here and properly paying income tax..but is it possible for me to stay here and get an extension of my visa although im divorced...if so,how??please tell me....

If you are on a spouse visa, you will obviously not be able to extend it beyond its current expiry date, as you are no longer married to a Japanese. You will have to look at other visa categories- full working visa etc.

How long have you been in Japan? Maybe you can apply for Permanent Residency status.
Also, if you have children with your ex-husband or other situations that link you to Japan, you can apply for a Long-Term Resident visa.
