Yes I'm sure they exist.
I have seen one in Kichijoji in Tokyo/Kanagawa and probably seen other ones before.

Hapuna restaurant

Hapuna at the Prince Hotel in Shinagawa is a buffet restaurant and it serves pretty big crab legs as part of the buffet, not quite king crab size but close. They keep the crab well stocked and it's delicious, since it's a buffet, obviously it's-all-you-can-eat.

I've only been to an all you can eat barbecue place in Tokyo. The beef was okay, I suppose, but the service was so slow that I didn't get as much as I thought I would for my 4 or 5 thousand yen.
