Finding a job in Japan 2008/10/29 01:41
Hi - I'm a 42 yr old female electrical engineer who wants to move to Japan. I know some basic Japanese (and I am taking Japanese language lessons), and play shamisen in an ensemble here in Colorado. I've heard that it is very difficult to find a job in Japan without moving there first. I don't want to give up my work position here because I need the money but I definitely want to move asap. I don't have a lot of money but I am a good engineer and work hard. Any advice on how to find a job ahead of time?

They offer electrical engineer jobs to US civilians. Maybe you can try there.
