Tokyu Stay Apartments 2008/11/28 20:24
I will be staying in Tokyo for a month next year and is thinking of staying in a serviced apartment instead of a hotel.

Has anyone stayed at the Tokyu Stay Aoyama Residence or Toyku Stay Yotsuya Residence? Which would you recommend?

How are the locations and are the staff fluent in English?

In addition, the Tokyu Stay website mentioned that a one-month deposit is required. What does it mean?

Thanks in advance.

I guess they are charging one month rent for the security deposit. That is normal, but if you don't like to pay the deposit, there are many furnished apartments in Tokyo.

For example, Hikari apartment ( http://www.tokyoapartment81.com/ ), or Sakura house ( http://www.sakura-house.com/ )
